Looked at a consignment boat on their lot and was told other folks interested but they did not leave a deposit. left then called in a deposit and said I was on my way to pick it up. Was told boat is mine . Arrived only to find that it was being sold to another who brought in a deposit AFTER mine was submitted. Sharon, owner's daughter, said sorry "they called and said they were on their way with a deposit." And she acknowledged mine was their first. Pretty underhanded, untrustworthy ownership
