Horrible communication
Hired Jay to prepare soil, grade and install sod in my backyard. The grading is awful. It is very uneven (high areas and low areas and I paid extra for the small tractor) and I could honestly twist an ankle back there. There are several areas in the lawn that have huge puddles. I will have to hire someone else to fix this eventually. His crew did not clean up behind themselves. I provided several yard waste bags so that they could be picked up for composting. This is a Black Owned Business! I wanted to give them my business and I would have loved to give them 5 Stars. Jay is very knowledgeable in his field of landscaping, well spoken and polite. I called, scheduled an appointment to look at my property and no one showed. I gave a second chance and rescheduled. Worker called stating he would be later than expected, no problem, I waited. I didn't end up using their service becasue my needs changed, but the gentleman I spoke to really wanted to help me, was very knowledgeable, and I would definitely consider them for future work.
