Being a first time patient, Dr. VanderWalde was wonderful. He explained everything so I could understand. Has a great personality and bedside manner.
Dr VanderWalde is always so encouraging and gives me great medical advice! Yesterday he told me about the care team who may be able to drive me to and home from surgical procedures. This is great news because I need someone who can accompany me/drive me to the MED for my scope this month.
The doctor is absolutely great but a couple of the nurses that assisted me to the exam room and the one named Evonne (not sure if that’s the correct spelling), her body language was not nice at all. Which was uncalled for. I have been a nurse for almost 30 years and know that her behavior was not appropriate.
Kindness, compassion, patience, knowledgeable, understanding and most of all caring. This man has truly been sent by God. He is simply AMAZING.
Dr. VanderWalde and his staff, from check-in to being in a patient room, was caring and professional. Dr. VanderWalde was kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable RE: my diagnosis and explained very thoroughly what to expect from my potential treatment plan. As soon as test results were available he took the time to inform me. It was a blessing in every aspect. I highly recommend his care as a radiology oncologist.
