They are the most unprofessional group to work for and they don’t pay well. Never any professionalism anymore.
Hospice LVN did well at keeping my mom comfortable, but had a very cold demeanor toward me. Ignored my questions or told me to Google them or gave me a handout when I simply needed comforting words from someone experienced in loss. "Mom's ready to go! Say your last words." was what she said as I watched my mother take her last breath. I hope you typically have more compassion than this. I would like to mention, however, the LVN I had the night before was wonderful.
I wanted to thank the following nurses who were part of the Constant Care team for my mother Carol. They educated us and cared for my mom and for us during our 9-day journey. Denise, Ogo, Chioma, Julie and Anna. I hope this message gets to them and lets them know they did a great job leading us through a difficult time.
The kindest, most compassionate people took care of my father. They treated him with dignity, explained everything to him and read to him. Would highly recommend.
Wende from No Place Like Home, came to our family just when she was supposed to. She helped my ailing Mother-in-law cross over and transition peacefully. It was a combination of Wende's knowledge, experience, and unique compassion that the whole family TRULY appreciated. We are forever grateful for her care and guidance.
