I had a very disappointing experience with this shop. The owner was dishonest—I later discovered they had replaced my slave cylinder with an old part but charged me for a new one. It failed again within a year. I also had my engine rebuilt here. I was quoted a little over $3,000, but the final cost ended up being more than $7,000. On top of that, the shop replaced my coolant hose with an incorrect van café silicone hose without informing me. This places is amazing. My car broke down in front of the shop and miles went the "extra mile" to get my alternator replaced and me back on the road in just a few hours. They completely saved my ass and my god these people are all so cool and down to earth.
Miles and company are keeping you and ye old Volkswagen alive. TNNG have spare parts and work on all Type 2 buses, air to water cooled. Busy shop and they move projects quickly so double check the important bits.
