RecommendedBeen going to No Icing for years, excited to have them located even closer in NH now. Always great service and sharpening/profiling.
Ordered Tydan Blades with a custom triple profile for my youngest son. They arrived promptly. The ⅝" hollow grind edge profile was .005" out of level - not within the tolerance I consider acceptable from a service that bills themselves as a professional skate sharpening service. The Tydan blades were installed on my sons brand new Bauer Supreme 2S skates, there is movement in the holders - front to back, up and down. Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient. My only wish is I lived closer to them, but 100% worth the drive.
Sent in four sets of blades to be sharpened, everything was returned labeled and wrapped. Skated on them last night, felt great. The service is definitely worth it.
Great service here. The profile they put on (their recommendation) is great, and actually a quicker turn around than if I drove to a rink which would actually profile Step Steel, drop them off, and then go back to pick them up. I will go no where else for profiles now.
Quality work and fast turnaround for mail orders. Just got my new runners profiled and sharpened. Put them in before reffing four games this past weekend. It was like driving a sports car, so sharp and responsive. Thanks.
Wow! I contacted No-icing to try a different profile/sharpening. I filled out the questionnaire and I was given the recommendation for the new quint radius with FBV. I was hesitant about throwing them on and going straight into a game. I had virtually no acclimation time. I felt light on my feet. I’ll be sending my spare steel in to get a matching profile. You just earned a long time customer.
