Their Google hours said 'OPEN' on 6/17 until 7:30pm. We arrive at 4:30pm to find out they don't open for the season until tomorrow. So they get 1 STAR for their inability to keep Google up-to-date after we made considerable effort to get there. The outdoor seating area is nice but better with food/drink which was non-existent.

I really wanted to like Clam Shack, but my experience was pretty disappointing overall. The location is nice and it has that classic Rhode Island seafood shack feel, but the food didn’t really impress me. Everything was just okay, the chowder was lukewarm and salty, clam cakes undercooked on the inside and burnt on the outside and whole clam belly just didn’t taste fresh or good.
Them kids are pushing raw dough out that window.. the only thing great is the one time view of the bay at sunset if you time it right, they close at 730. Im very serious, the clam cakes were raw with pieces of well done clams inside.
We recommend the hot lobster rolls.
