The doctors are very good, but the woman with glasses at the reception desk either needs training or she should be fired. Instead of urgently directing a patient with a severe headache to a doctor's room, she tries to give them an appointment, asks too many questions because she doesn't know the answer.
This is by far one of the most frustrating healthcare experiences I’ve ever had. North Gate Clinic in Toronto has zero respect for patients’ time. Appointment times are meaningless here, if they tell you to come at 11:00, do not expect to be seen before 12:30, if you’re lucky. I made the effort to arrive on time, traveling over an hour from downtown, only to have my entire day disrupted. I have always had a positive experience with North Gate Medical Clinic. Whenever I call, I am able to get answers to my questions, and the staff are understanding, patient, and helpful. Although the waiting times can sometimes be long, I know this is not something within their control. I have been visiting this clinic since I moved to Canada, and I would like to thank them for the care and support they provide.
