I went to the Emergency Room on Wednesday May 29, 2024 by order of my Dr at the VAMC in Shreveport, LA for numbness in my rt hand. After nearly 5 hrs there, they assumed I had a stroke, in which I did not have a stroke. I had no symptoms of even having a stoke. They treat Disabled Veterans like a dummy. Even said I wasn't in the system under my Veteran Insurance, in which I am. They wanted to ship me out to Houston or Dallas. That's when I got frustrated and walked out.
