We hired this company to paint our railings, kitchen cabinets, and doors, as well as stain baseboards and trim. Prior to beginning I asked what kind of products they would use. He said oil based primer to ensure durability and adhesion and then latex overtop. They obviously didn't use ANY primer because in multiple places the paint just peels right off with the most delicate touch. It looks like they didn't even bother to clean, let alone sand. I hired NKN to paint the bannister on my stairs back in 2023. At the time he assured me that he sanded the old paint down before painting. I called him 3 months and 6 months after he finished the job and told him that the paint was still sticky and it was very easily peeling. I’m talking if you use the bannister as support while you’re going downstairs with a ring on, it’ll peel the entire coat of paint off.
