The nurses were amazing. They listened to me when I told them what was going on and the doctor listened to me as well. She took care of my pain and nausea, talked about a plan of what I could do as part of my care. I especially like the way we were able to put our heads together and make a decision based on how I felt instead of her taking over and saying I think we should do this and this, vs, how do you feel about doing this or this. This was probably the worst experience I have ever had at nkc. I showed up at the emergency room with possible appendicitis given my obvious symptoms. I was not brought back to a room until 610. Nurse walked in at 620 to assess my symptoms and then the PA came In shortly after. Said we would do bloodwork and a CT. Blood work was taken right after and I left a urine sample.
