So I want to start by saying that Miss. Daniela Alzate (emp. Specialist) has been literally the greatest mentor and teacher. She was so helpful and she went out of her way to follow up and make sure that I was still going to the class that I had signed up for and if it wasn’t for her, I would’ve Missed My appointment at New Jersey one stop because they sent the letter to reentry instead of my house. If you miss two calls from the Paterson reentry program, they may discharge you without reaching out to your referral sources and prompt you to reapply. The state of NJ’s support system seems to be in disarray.

First, I would like to apologize for the statement I made about 7 years ago. I completed this program and I must say it was of great help; Sometimes we expect to much to soon and when it doesn't happen rite away,we get upset. When I completed this program it was basically just starting so a lot of programs were not in place yet. However I still had an opportunity to meet some incredible people, get Medicaid, food stamps and find a job not to mention I learned some computer skills, learned how to talk to others also in front ... read more

I thought it was going to be a great experience from what I was told. First one of the counselors called my 1/2 way house and told them I was MIA meanwhile I was outside smoking.....mind you I'm on drug Court...that could have cost me dearly. Supposedly once you're completed the program and straighten out your liscence they pay the restoration? NOPE! I went to DMV waited 5hrs and was told the restoration fee was never paid. I even signed up for food stamps while I was there and never heard anything. It was a wasted week. I g... read more
