Your get covered NJ reps who I found to be obtusely flat lined is saying the least lack the knowledge to understand some people are terminally ill and require those that have medical power of attorney to operate on their behalf. I can only hope they obtain the required information one day either by unfortunately becoming one who needs a POA rep, sad but plenty out there in the position or becoming someone who actually gets training and learns empathy for those in that situation.
