My mother was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Dr. Habal recommended she have a port surgery implanted to have chemo administered. Prior to the appointment my mother decided to hold off in this but someone from his office explained they were going to do a biopsy on her lymph nodes. My mother decided to move forward with the procedure since we were under the impression the biopsy was necessary in order to know the stage of the cancer.
