Dr. Karki has let my husband down multiple times. It is a waste of time attempting to contact her for anything. Please don’t waste your time.
I met with Dr. Karki this morning. I saw her resident first, Dr. Capone. Between the two of them, they spent well over an hour with me. Initially, they did not come in together, which I would have possibly found more overwhelming. Dr. Capone was very professional, yet comforting because I was quite anxious. Dr. Karki returned with him after they met to discuss my evaluation and then he left, leaving her to go over my results. Dr Karki did not treat me well. I have a valid complaint and because she could not find the root of my problem she wrote me off and termed my complaints as subjective symptoms. Dr Karki has referred me to UVA but my insurance isn’t participating with UVA. Now that I am out of her wheelhouse of knowledge I am slipping through the cracks. What happened to Carilion being cutting edge care? I don’t recommend putting your health in her hands.
