I’ve seen these in several farm-related magazines. We purchased a box full from amazon. Placed as directed height of predators. We have them on every outside wall of hen house. PERFECT!! Excellent! We had an ongoing problem with a raccoon getting into our hen-house and killing a hen every other night, until we installed a Nite Guard at the door. The opening is on the north side of the house, so I was afraid there wouldn't be enough sunshine to fully charge it during the day, but we have not lost a single hen since the day we put it up. Now we are planning a second coop and hen house and I can assure you, there will be Nite Guard installed from day 1!
