Took my car in Saturday to get an alignment. After 30 minutes, they tried to tell me I needed to pay $1200 for a single strut replacement and then charged me $150 for a diagnostic fee and no alignment. What?! I got quotes from other mechanics who could replace the pair of struts (not just one) for about $750. Took my car to a mechanic yesterday and what did they find my car simply needed? An alignment.
