I had such a great experience at Nique Beauty Bar! I booked an appointment for tribal boho braids, and not only did Nique deliver exactly what I wanted, but she went above and beyond. The shop has such a welcoming environment, and everyone was super friendly. This was my first time meeting Nique, but her warm and friendly energy made me feel like I had known her forever. Nique beauty Bar is truly a one-stop shop— braids, weaves, lashes nails and makeup. The shop is very nice and welcoming atmosphere, Nique is very polite and professional. A heart of Gold. She loves to make people look and feel good. I started with getting my daughter wash, trims & silk presses with Nique, she also did my daughter’s 9th birthday ponytail that turned heads! I've gotten my lashes done and hair braided by Nique and all the times I went to her she provided top notch services. She pays attention to the smallest details and makes sure your vision for your hair comes to fruition. 10/10 across the board. Treat yourself , don't cheat yourself. Book with her!
If I could give zero stars, I would. I sent my daughter here for just a trim on natural hair... and the stylist was over two hours late. Not even in the salon! She did not communicate her whereabouts or give an explanation. She did not even say hello when she finally got there. We were not compensated, and she had a DOG IN THE SALON jumping on my daughter's lap during the appointment. Stylists were also feeding the dog and still putting hands in my daughter's hair... The unprofessionalism was astounding. 1 star.
I would give zero stars if I could. The lashes irritated my eyes. My appointment was rescheduled twice. Brow tint never happened I was told to come back the next day and was stood up. I showed up to an empty shop! No answer from the stylist. To be fair she offered the tint for free as an inconvenience for all the rescheduling, but the gag is I would’ve paid for it.
