Terrible company. 1 star is generous for NIPSCO. Locking out thousands of employees while hiking prices on customers is a blatant display of greed. This company clearly has no respect for its workers or the community it depends on. People are already struggling, and instead of providing fair, reliable service, NIPSCO chooses to make things worse—charging more while giving less. 1 star is more than NIPSCO deserves! Locking out thousands of employees while cranking up prices on customers is straight-up greed!!! They know they’re the only option in this area, and it shows. There’s no competition, so they just keep raising rates because they can, while giving customers no real choice but to pay it. That’s not a service, that’s exploitation. Monopoly company. They get to charge you whatever they want because it’s the only option in NE Indiana. Get off their system ASAP go to propane and solar. Delivery charges are outrageous. Customer service matches their business—crappy and won’t let you speak.
Love going 10 hours without power and being told it will more then likely be a day or two before they will even attempt to make a repair because only a couple of house are without power on my street. Im sure my bill won’t reflect any of this and will somehow be more expensive. Absolute stellar service guys. You guys are a terrible company with terrible service. If ANY OTHER company was around I would use them.
Last two storms didnt knock out power until Nipsco startes fixing lines then they knocked out our power
