Food was alright. Very simple and not worth the money. The options for the tip were not in order, though (something like 18 15 12 20 or 18 12 15 20, so if you just looked at it quickly and tried to select the lowest option, you'd end up selecting one of the two highest ones). Pretty darn unethical and manipulative if you ask me. The service was good, though the food was prepared oddly fast.
Nippon Curry Berkeley is a cozy spot for a satisfying Japanese curry meal. The curry was rich and flavorful, with well-prepared ingredients and generous portions. The service was pleasant, and the relaxed setting made it an enjoyable place for a casual meal.
Second visit and made a special side trip while picking up someone at SFO. Lots of students were around and they were doing lots of take out service. Honestly was a little disappointed compared to first visit. The curry was still very good but didn’t hit as well as the first time. Food was AMAZING!!! This was a delivery. There was traffic but it was still late. Atleast the delivery person communicated well that it like be late. But I ordered it about 2-3 hours ahead of time.
