It's hard to find Japanese food in this part of Queens, so Nippon Cha has become a new favorite of mine. There is plenty of space for small groups. Henry and the other servers took care of us with attentive service.
Good food and reasonable price.
The food is excellent, I wanted a donburi to try the tochucha rice so I ordered the unatama don (eel w. boiled egg in tentsuyu sauce). It was very tasty and a large portion (I ate half and took the other half home). I also tried a hot tochucha tea and it was very flavorful, I liked it a lot! Staff were polite and service was very quick! Note: this is a popular restaurant and the seating was clearly optimized to fit as many guests as possible 😅.
