The cabins were cozy an off-grid not a lot of amenities but meant to be grassroots. Great activities included with the resort fees. Frisbee golf, mountain bike skills, pond and fatbikes for your use. The coup de gras is that you can ride trails right over your door. The Kootenay Krusher is a MUST ride. It's amazing.
Our stay at Nipika Mountain Resort was that of pure bliss. So much so, we tried to stay again for the last leg of our trip instead of camping as intended. Not surprisingly, everything was already booked 🙃 At Nipika, you can expect to feel like you’ve been transported back in time but comfortably. From the long gravel road to get there (complete with a brown bear munching on shrubs) to the spotty Wifi, to the picturesque mountain views. Things feel free and simple.
