This retreat is absolutely beautiful and I love that it's tucked away in the hills for a remote and private getaway! The owner is beyond accommodating and has everything you could possibly need exactly where you're expect it to be! The fish are abundant in the marsh and there's even boats to use if you prefer that over shore fishing! Our family had a wonderful time, and can’t thank Steve enough for his flexibility accommodating us. Our stay was brief, but had no shortage of fish or breathtaking views. This hidden gem is close enough to town for convenience and quick access to all the river tubing and canoeing outfitters, while being just far enough into the Sandhills for solitude and start gazing. This is one of those places we wish we had found sooner in life but are delighted that we know about it now. Niobrara Riverview Retreats provided us with a tranquil and picturesque place to meet up, stay with friends, and unwind among beautifully scenic Niobrara vistas. The idyllic location has a remote feel while being minutes from Valentine, NE, and the local canoeing/kayaking/rafting outfitters. Niobrara Riverview Retreats is all you could ask for in Relaxation and being in almost Wilderness. It has a modern Lodge for guests , cabins to say in , playground. Horseshoes & other games. The BEST part is the wildlife in all the acres of the Retreat. Also, the fishing in the small lake and the Niobrara River. Take a Kayak out on the River, take a hike in any direction or just plain relax by a quiet campfire. Roast a hotdog or smores. Come see for yourself, it is a memory of a Lifetime.

I highly recommend staying at Niobrara Riverview Retreats. We had a great time staying here! There are yard games, fishing, hunting and much more.
