Many thanks and much love to all the staff at Nine Cakes! I've been regularly stopping in for slices of vegan cake over the past 1.5 years. I got a birthday cake for myself recently and am so so pleased. Absolutely gorgeous and it tastes great! Thank you for the cake and see you all soon. :)
Great shop. I wanted to try everything! We resisted and settled for a delicious buttery pecan slice topped with buttercream and a raspberry frangipane tart. Both were excellent! We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Hudson.
Friends brought over some last minute desserts from Nine Cakes and they were amazing! They stopped in at the end of the day and got a few gratis items as well. Choux au Craqueline + Profiteroles were incredible.
Cookies are good. Cake not so much. Frosting had no flavor - not even a hint of sweet. Tastes like they use shortening instead of butter for the buttercream frosting. Perhaps it is just the vanilla/vanilla cake. Sad to say it was thrown out by everyone who had a slice.
This little shop in Hudson NY is magical. The cakes, cookies AND macarons are ALL amazing!
