Casual Restaurant Good casual restaurant, a little pricey for what you get, but nice selection. Location is ok and service was ok.
About What You Would Expect Nothing fancy or special here. The food is pretty good as is the service. The prices are pretty high as well. The portions are modest and the selection is average at best. If you get stuck here it's okay, but I would spend my own dollars somewhere else.

Not bad – We went there on a weekday and it wasn't crowded at all. The place looks elegant, yet is very casual. My wife and friend loved the food. She had the cajun prime rib, but said it was a little too spicy (she's a wimp). My friend had the salmon (which he orders everywhere he goes) and said it was great. My grilled shrimp was so-so. It was actually kind of bland. I won't order that again. The service was very good. The waiter was very attentive to my 7-yr. old daughter. She liked the place, as well.
Join the urban hip for lunch or dinner at City Grill. – In Short With cozy booths and soothing, salmon-colored walls, City Grill has a reputation as a haunt for upscale singles, perhaps in part because it's one of the few full-service restaurants in Tucson that stays open late. It welcomes those with a penchant for gourmet wood-fired pizzas, innovative sandwiches, nouvelle pastas, grilled seafood and rotisserie chicken. The California-oriented wine list is substantial enough to intimidate people who order by the color. There... read more
User review by sammy1130 – I go there once a month to meet with my networking group, and we always enjoy our lunch. They have a little private room for us and the service just couldn't be better. We always need separate checks, which they are always more than happy to do for us, and the food is always great! I really enjoy the wok charred salmon with garlic mashed potatoes, or on the lighter side, they have a great Asian chopped salad - both are so yummy!
Terrible Service – First and foremost the MahiMahi was horrible. The portion was tiny, it was overcooked and way too salty. It was my first and last time going to the City Grill. The waiter was not at all attentative to our drinks. Terrible service and poor quality on the food.
Classy and Comfortable – One of my favorites! Every time I have been here I was seated reasonably near my reservation time. The ambiance is quiet and comfortable, even in the bar area. I've never had anything for dinner that I didn't enjoy, but I could wish for a little more creativity on the menu. The wine selection is not outstanding, but is very acceptable. The service has always been prompt and polite. Overall, I would also say they are a good value for the cost.
