I was Blessed to be under the Excellent care by Dr Piri who is extremely compassionate and gifted by God. SLU is my eye family I am so grateful and at home with their care. I could have lost my life from Fusarium Fungus I never knew existed and how serious the fungus was. After 3 months of amazing care going over and above coming in on weekends trying to eradicate the fungus, we lost the battle giving our all with drops, eye injections, cornea transplants (Thanks Dr Asghari). Absolutely knowledge, thorough, kind, patient and the best in her field. Dr Piri took her time to examine, diagnose and explain every step of the way to ensure my mom is feeling heard, acknowledged, educated on the symptoms and root cause and understands the next steps of care. We could tell that her team and staff respected and adored her. What a life saver! SLU is lucky to have her.
