As a physician, I can tell you that this is a well-run operation. Dr Mehta is polite, professional, knowledgeable and reassuring. I can recommend this place to anybody.
Post-Covid this office has become less responsive, you have to actively pursue responses regarding lab results, appointments, etc. while dealing with dismissive front desk staff who will claim office managers are unavailable or EMR systems are down. Which is unfortunate since Dr. Mehta seems to be knowledgeable & helpful.
Crazy wait time one and a 1/2 hour to see a doctor and 2 and a 1/2 hour to have a procedure done avoid this place
Dr Nilesh Mehta Recently, I had severe stomach problems. I was under the care of Dr. Nilesh Mehta, Gastroentrologist at Digestive Disease Care in New Hyde Park. When I met him for consultation, he was in no rush, most attentive, totally focused and made me feel that I was the most important person for the entire duration of our meeting.
