I stopped by with my daughter today at 4:45pm. Parking lot was empty, restaurant as well . We wanted to grab 2 items to go: avglemole soup and poutine. My daughter was told it would be over an hour!!! What the heck Nikos! Why on earth would you prioritize online vs walkins , besides, it was 2 items. It wouldn't have caused that much of a disruption. I won't be returning, which is sad, bc I like to support local and have come here since the late 90s. Very disappointed, would not recommend going here anymore.
We ordered on skip for delivery, and told it would be 45 minutes. We love the food. We called the restaurant but they said they were too busy. After 2 hours the poor driver arrived with our meal, and our guests were extremely hungry & had been patient as we all waited. The driver had been waiting for well over 45 minutes for the order at the restaurant and missed out on many other deliveries. When the order arrived, one item that was charged was missing. It was a bad experience. We are very disappointed.
Only one chef was working so, couple of menu items weren't available. Was the middle of the week though. So, understandable. Place was packed by 6pm. Our food was fresh, presented well. Overall a good experience. Would go back for sure!
New to town decided to try this place. Was very surprised. This is the best gyro I had yet to date in Canada. The meats in the chicken and the lamb/beef one was very well seasoned and cooked to perfection. This will be my go to every time I come through Winnipeg. Thanks
