I left this appointment feeling genuinely upset. The doctor showed no empathy and made me feel like my concerns were an inconvenience. I was treated like a number—not a person. I followed the office’s instructions, paid $400 for hormone bloodwork in advance, and was still denied appropriate refills due to a “new policy” that was obviously never explained to me. My labs were only 3 months old, yet I was told I would be forced to redo them immediately instead of at the actual six-month mark, which was what the actual new policy stated. I’ve been a patient for over 20 years. I began seeing Dr. Bobadilla after Dr. Milano retired, and for the past three years she has managed my prescriptions without issue. In October, when I called to refill my prescriptions and schedule my annual appointment for January, I was told I needed bloodwork prior to receiving refills. That seemed reasonable. I just wanted to share my experience with Dr. Bobadilla, which was unfortunately really bad. I went in for PCOS testing because I currently live between DC and New Jersey. My gynecologist and DC recommended that I get tested for PCOS because of an ultrasound. I wasn’t going to be in DC for awhile so I decided to see my usually gynecologist Dr. Karen Diaz Martin, however she was booked up so I went to Dr. Bobadilla who are at the same practice.
