Dr. Bobadilla put me at ease during my pelvic exam. She was both professional and friendly.
I left this appointment feeling genuinely upset. The doctor showed no empathy and made me feel like my concerns were an inconvenience. I tried to explain what I was experiencing, but she cut me off and didn’t seem interested in listening. Healthcare shouldn’t feel like this. What makes this experience especially frustrating is that my issue was very manageable and could have been handled with basic attention and care. I was treated like a number—not a person. I followed the office’s instructions, paid $400 for hormone bloodwork in advance, and was still denied appropriate refills due to a “new policy” that was obviously never explained to me. My labs were only 3 months old, yet I was told I would be forced to redo them immediately instead of at the actual six-month mark, which was what the actual new policy stated.
