Food good, service bad – I visited this restaurant this weekend to celebrate my friends b-day and we did not have a great experience. It all started when we arrived and there was an hour and half wait after we were told we didn't need a reservation. They told us there was no wait if we sat outside or in the bar area. Don't waste your time or your money on a place that obviously doesn't want it. – If great customer service is important to you, Nikkos is not the place to get it. The WORST customer service – After cancelling dinner reservations at Mimosa's for a party of 8 because Nikkos had been highly recommended to me I feel so let down. I called ahead of time to inquire about a reservation for my party of 8. I was told that I did NOT need a reservation as long as I arrived prior to 9pm. Horrible Customer Service – I visited Nikko on Saturday for night out on the town with the girls Nikko's being our first stop. BIG MISTAKE! Best Sushi Restaurant in Charlotte – Nikko's was the first restaurant I ate at when I was looking to move to Charlotte and now is one of my favorite places to eat in Charlotte. Yes, they are busy. Horrible Customer Service – Continued from below review: I ordered the chicken and shrimp but didn't receive my full portion of chicken. In addition I found a hair in my food. Luckily the bus boy was standing there when I found it or I am sure the management would say I was lying. worst service EVER!! – As a visitor to Charlotte this is the WORST dining experience i have EVER had anywhere! My girlfriends and i went out to celebrate a birthday. After being seated out on the patio we were ignored and had to wait over 20 minutes just to put in our drink orders. Great Sushi and People Watching – My boyfriend and went to Nikko for a nice sushi dinner around 8pm on a Saturday night, we didn't have a reservation but were quickly seated at the sushi bar, which was nice, we were very comfortable having a drink at the bar and waiting if need be. Don't Go here Ever!!!!!!! – I havent been to Nikko in awhile and was really looking forward to the experience. Unfortunately I was let down. I went on Saturday evening at around 6:30, wanting to beat the crowd. Well the Hostess promptly sat me and my girlfriend.
