Dr. Kumar is not someone you would want have as a doctor if you have Rheumatoid Arthritis and are on Medicare. a friend of mine Denise Sheridan has her for Rheumatoid Arthritis and Dr. Kumar had Denise do blood test in July, Denise's next appt with Dr. Kumar was this November and Dr. Kumar did not check the results of the July visit till the November Visit, the lab results from July were alarming, All Dr Kumar did was to schedule other in March and that will be with a NP! Dr. Kumar was caring and willing to work with me to give me the best scientifically based care. I really appreciate her.
The office staff is fine. They are friendly and helpful. Rana Aoufe PA-C is awesome! She's knowledgeable and takes the time to listen and cares about my concerns. 5 stars However, Nikila Kumar, MD, FACR was very impersonal and did not show any concern for me. She did not ask any questions and just rushed through the visit. When I tried to ask a question about a concern she brushed it off and just addressed what she needed to do with the computer. Not at all what I look for in a doctor.
