I have severe anxiety about going to the dentist, I waited for 20 years before I went. I was embarrassed and extremely nervous to go in after not being seen in so long. As I walked into the waiting room I was greeted by Karen, she immediately could tell how nervous I was. She reassured me that Dr. Nigelle is extremely gentle. Took me in as an emergency patient, 2.5 hours later I walked out a new human!!
The worst dentist I've ever been to. Constant condescending and rhetorical questions made for a long, uncomfortable hour. At one point he implied that my gag reflex was conscious and I was doing it to intentionally to be hard. Also, the most low-tech office I've been to. Would strongly advise going somewhere else.
I've been seeing Dr. Nigrelle for 9 years, and my sister and her family for another ten years before that. He's taught me to care for my teeth in a way no other dentist took the time to do before. The office is intentionally low tech - he's in it for patient health, not to charge patients and insurance companies as much as he can for the newest most expensive procedures.
