I am glad I have this place to go to. Very wise and understanding professional workers. I hope many other people who need someone to help them through hard ,dark times will read this.
They took over for my retired doctor. She is a nurse practitioner, taking care of an office that was taken care of by a very well respected psychiatrist. A neuro and pharmacopsychiatrist and it has been my personal experience that they are unaware of how to manage a practice for people with anxiety disorders. Reassurance is key. When a doctor and office literally "ghosts" patients, ones with anxiety, it makes anxiety worse. Miss Hogg has taken over for my retired psychiatrist. I have no idea if she plans to practice at both places so this only goes for her, as a doctor. I came to actually love (as much as a patient can love their doctor) my old doc and I wish him the best - that happens when someone saves your life. You cannot place your trust in a human, and tell them things you cannot tell anyone else, for a decade and not develop a deep 2 way trust and understanding.
