Good rooms in convenient location.
Honest feedback. Not the best area st albans but it's where we booked. Meals were good. Service was good. Room however needs serious upgrade. Cracked walls and shonky wall repairs out dated inside. Beds might be king coil but 2 singles joined together ain't a king bed sorry. Hard lump in middle, soggy beds not firm enough. Need replacing. Shower with body was , shampoo and conditioner in bottles that anyone can put what they like in is not on. Need to be sealed mini one use bottles. Shower needs revamping. Had a nice meal, the service was very good at reasonable prices.
A cozy, welcoming pub with a relaxed atmosphere that hits just right. Five stars for the steak sandwich 👏👏👏
