I made an appt for a second opinion with Dr. Cottrell and this was the best decision I could have made. She caught something from another report by a doctor that needs attention now that was missed from 7 months ago. I will be using this doctor for a double mastectomy soon. I know I’m in the right place.
Dr. Cottrell is very informative about breast cancer and treatment medications that are recommended for each patient. She treats each patient with care and makes sure you are comfortable with each outcome. She is very honest about your diagnosis and makes sure you understand the risks associated with each treatment. She is an awesome doctor and surgeon and I know that I'm in good hands.
I am so grateful that Dr. Sharpe did my prophylactic mastectomy. She was very thorough and understood my anxiety, as well as my desired outcome. She gave me exactly what I requested, and did a beautiful, true flat closure Another provider asked for her information to refer other patients because she had never seen such a beautiful DMX. An excellent surgeon!
