I needed to insure a house I was preparing to buy. I was given a quote and offered a further discount if I switch over to them for car insurance. I was warned about the underwriters but assured that I would have time to complete any work that the underwriters demanded. I was told 6 months. I was told today that's not the case, instead I have a month to complete the required repairs or they would drop my home insurance.
