I just love Dr. Waltrip!!! She has a calming presence even when she’s telling you things you need to hear but might not want to hear. She is thorough with her exams. I’m sure no one likes going to the gynecologists’ office, but she makes the experience a lot less stressful. She also makes great suggestions with problems that one might be experiencing.
Dr. Waltrip is the first doctor who truly showed concern about my PCOS diagnosis and abnormal menstrual cycles as a 21-year-old. From the moment my appointment started, she went above and beyond to make sure I felt calm and comfortable. She took the time to answer every single one of my questions thoroughly and never made me feel rushed. For the first time, I felt heard, understood, and genuinely cared for. It was my very first time meeting with the doctor and I can’t say enough good things about her. She went over my history, which was very important to me. She was gentle and caring, and took the time to explain how the different medication’s work. She made sure that I was staying up-to-date on all of the tests and procedures for a woman my age.
