I found Dr. Breen when I first moved to Spokane and wanted to establish a family doctor for myself, as well as my husband and future children. In our first appt, she was attentive as I explained to her how important it was for me to have one doctor to care for all of us (an all of my opinions). She was up for the challenge---she delivered both of our babies and is still our doctor 7 years later. Dr. Breen was suggested to me by a friend when I was looking for a new GP due to mine retiring, and I really can't understand why. Dr. Breen has always shrugged off any concerns I've brought up with her. She told me my xray results and urine tests were normal, despite both returning with abnormalities. My UTI went untreated for two weeks until I went to a different physician at a different office. She prescribes physical therapy for any pain, even if I tell her that it flares up due to activity or overuse, and shows absolute... read more
I’ve been seeing Dr. Breen for 3+ years and absolutely love the care she provides. I really enjoy that she’s very matter of fact and has been so flexible and receptive to all of my medication needs. I’ve seen many doctors over the course of my life and none have provided me with the type of care she has.
I immediately did not care for her dismissive eccentric personality. Since personality isn't the most important characteristic in a physician, I continued to visit her until I realized being dismissive wasn't just a personality trait, but she truly doesn't seem to care about her patients and its who she is. I'm 58 years old and have never experienced a physician that seemed to care less than Dr. Breen. She could have cost me my life. Thank God I obtained a second opinion.
