I brought a patient into this office and asked to have brain scans done because of unbalanced walking and confusion/forgetfulness. The patient normally walked well with a walker, could use a cell phone including texting, could play games, was completely with it cognitively and jad a very sharp memory. At the appointment, we were over looked and dismissed by the Nurse Practitioner. We were told "we could do a scan but really you are 97, its really not necessary ".
