My partner and I had a wonderful experience at Nicky Rottens. We just wanted some celebratory mimosa drinks and an afternoon snack of mozzarella sticks. We had a great view looking out over the town with side view of the San Diego city skyline. They were very accommodating of our dog bringing him his own water bowl. Unfortunately some random “professional agitators” came along put cameras in our faces and did this to everyone sitting facing out without trespassing. Had a good experience here! Their portion is like that of Texas, not California! I had enough chicken in my sandwich to make another order. And 2 patties seem like the stand for their burgers! Unless the menu explicitly says single patty, you get TWO no matter what you order. Service was super friendly. Our waiter was attentive as well. Definitely the typical Cali vibe. So nice to see. Nicky Rottens Bar & Burger Joint is all about easy comfort food and a laid-back bar vibe. The burgers were juicy, messy in a good way, and definitely satisfying. Fries hit the spot too. It gets lively, a bit loud, but that’s part of the fun. Service was quick and friendly. Not fancy, just a solid place to grab a burger and chill.
Abysmal service with even worse drinks. Wouldn’t recommend coming here unless drinks so poorly made you shouldn’t have a lighter nearby without fear of catching fire
Horrible food and horrendous service don’t go here at all there’s way better places in the island new manager is awful
