I am incredibly frustrated with my experience at this shop. After paying the bill and waiting for days, the exact same issue is still happening. It is clear that they didn't actually fix anything. Beyond the poor workmanship, the customer service was appalling. The staff was dismissive, rude, and acted as if my questions were an inconvenience to them. After more than 10 of great service it is unfortunate for Valley Stream that Nick's son had to retire. It was a 5 star place for all those years earning his reputation for honesty an quality. The new owner doesn't measure up. Failed inspection and was quoted $2400 for parts and service. Had another mechanic check and was told that everything is fine. I'm done with the new Nick's. I won't rate them with less than 3 stars for now because more than a decade of 5 star service has to be worth something. I hope the new owner turns... read more
