Six of us went for brunch to celebrate a birthday on their patio, which is actually a quiet, lovely indoor garden of sorts. It was very pleasant atmosphere, with great service, and very good/excellent food. Several of us ordered the Bistro Special (?) with a petite filet cooked to order, French onion soup, & a small salad. Food was very well prepared and flavored. Center cut fillet was cooked properly medium rare. Excellent food overall - including drinks and appetizers. Service was attentive without being overbearing like some higher end restaurants have. May be a bit noisy at times but they tried to keep some distance, including a bit of a barrier from the waiting area at the front door, so not going to call that a real problem - just be aware in choosing. Nice place for special occasions.
Very good food, good service...pretty nice atmosphere....one of the better dining experiences in Pasadena, CA!
I usually go to restaurants for the ambience because I make food better at home, but Nick's restaurant had superb food that I was really impressed with.
