It seems like Nicks customers service model is... Bad customer service. They are not quick or easy to work with. I would recommend JK Boots or really any other US bootmaker if you want a straight forward purchasing experience.
I visited the store in June 2025 to be sized for a pair of boots and placed my order in person that day. The process took over two hours, and unfortunately it felt like my time wasn’t valued. After being sized, I was told the expected lead time would be about six months. When the six-month mark arrived, I had not received any updates. Correction. they paid for the shipping round trip and shortened the heel stack, they fit great now and i cant wait to fully break them in. my back no longer hurts from just standing in the boots that had a to tall of a heel Don't buy here if you have smaller feet, yes the boots are high quality, but the boots its received had a heel stack that made the ball of my foot lift 1/2" off the ground when the heel was flat, no break-in is going to fix that. Their fix is to charge more money to ship it back and lower the heel stack. ... read more
