James was very communicative and responsive. I appreciate his time and effort and letting me bring a car in on the Saturday my car decided to break down. James jumped into action and started working right away to diagnose the issues with the vehicle. After all the engine turned out to be totalled, James really tried everything but in the end, the issue was unfixable.
Ended up having a water pump issue while I was visiting Redding. Nickerson Automotive was the only place I could get help with on the weekend. He quoted me for work at a great price for what needed to get done. Everything worked out great 👍 Do note, initial contact was only through text, but he was very responsive
I had a faulty spark plug when driving through Redding and while Nickerson automotive was booked through the weekend, he still made time to recommend other good mechanics in town who could quickly fix my problem and help me get on my way safely. Says a lot about how well someone treats their customers when they have nothing to gain. This guy is one of the good ones.
This place wants to charge $125 cash for service and when I called they only wanted to text. I describe my issue, needing a CKP relearn procedure and they told me I needed a new throttle body sensor. Ignoring my question told me to come down and he'd have a look at it... I wouldn't trust this place at all.
Honest and reliable. He Took my grandma's truck in late Sunday and worked tell the job was finished, even after closing to make sure the job was done right. I won't take my vehicles anywhere else now. Thank you for fixing my grandma's pickup like it was your own.
