I've finally decided to conquer my fears of deep water and couldn't have been able to do it without my friends at Nickel City Splash. The friendliest group of instructors and students. Everyone really care about your progress and do everything to help you improve. After 2 sessions I can confidently jump in a pool, thread water, swim( front and back). If you're an adult looking to learn how to swim in the buffalo area look no further, come join this fun group :)

Going to nationals was a fantastic experience! When I got up on the starting blocks for the 100 free, surrounded by great athletes in an amazing venue, I then dove in for one of the greatest experiences in my 65 years of life. I am not a fast swimmer, but the coaching I’ve received at Nickel City made me feel comfortable and competitive at a national level meet. Thank you coaches!

I just moved up to Masters, and at 70, I can call myself a swimmer. The others in my cohort have been wond... read more

2026 Spring Nationals in Greensboro with Nickel City Splash was such a fun weekend. The team is full of very talented swimmers. Everyone was excitingly supportive and provided a relaxed positive atmosphere. The tattoos, lane to lane cheering, and team dinner, were just some of the elements that made for an inclusive experience. Congratulations on the 10th place finish. What a great group to swim with! Sincerely, Bryan

Joining Nickel City Splash group is one of the most wonderful things I've done for myself in the last couple of years. Besides being in better shape than ever, they are the nicest, most inclusive group of people. It doesn't matter which level you swim at. So glad to be a part of this team.
