Amazing coaches and welcoming teammates!
If I could give 10 stars, I would. I started with their Learn to Swim program. Now, I’m in a higher level group thanks to Nickel City Splash. The coaches are amazing. They offer guidance, technique and have helped improve my swimming so much. They are seriously the best. Great coaches. Great team of people.
As an older adult I didn't decide to learn to swim until my middle fifties, it's been a challenging experience and at times I just want to give up, however Nickel City Splash has a community that encourages you to never give up. I'm so grateful for the organization and my current coaches Mike and Barry. I feel so lucky to be a part of the Nickel City Splash swim team. This team has been a part of my life in one way or another for over 20 years, and I’m thankful for every practice and every person I’ve met along the way. The coaches are attentive and encouraging, and the fellow swimmers make practice so much more fun. It is great for all ages and skill levels, and the workouts are always well organized. I look forward to years of swimming and laughing with this crew.
I cannot imagine my life without this team. The entire experience; the coaches, the facility, the friendships in the water, the silliness in the locker room, the social events, and the opportunity to teach in the Adult Learn to Swim program, has brought me so much joy and fulfillment. If you’re looking for an incredible group of people and a place to get fit, improve your technique, and genuinely enjoy being in the water, Nickel City Splash is the place for you.
