Nick Koteman and State Farm are the insurance equivalent of a greasy used car salesman at best. Not an agent at all. He has no answers to questions, and no authority to do anything but sell you an overpriced product. After being a State Farm customer that has never been late on a payment and only took out more policies over the course of the close to 15 years of carrying coverage, my experience making my first claims has been an absolute nightmare. I have been a customer with Nick Koeteman’s office since I was 16 years old. I had never had a claim with State Farm until last month, when my boat needed a new lower unit due to a collision with something under water. I filed a claim with State Farm and received a call within a couple hours from the claims department. I got the claims department the photos and estimate that they requested and was issued an electronic payment within 24 hours of filing a claim.
