Seek help elsewhere, don't spend your effort here. No abuse, but I suspect most owe their positions to personal patronage contacts in the supporting institution. Not a good one.
Aimed at minor problems of the very affluent attached to the institution they serve. Twice dealing with them over a decade, both negative. 1st counselor was let go a month or 2 after I'd seen them (appropriately) , yrs later a friend suggested I try again.. 2nd was an intern, very much not 'up to it'. I suggest others find a more professional setting if you're serious about getting help. If you really need help, look elsewhere.
