I was sent to Dr. Barneclo a number of years ago for a mental health assessment. He was warm, sympathetic, and helpful at times. He listened carefully and explained areas of concern in clear terminology. I owe him a great deal for helping me get out of a very toxic home environment. My only complaint is that he could have been more assertive towards my foster parents and apt at recognizing signs of abuse and neglect. Initially requested a reminder before the appointment, was texted an hour before the appointment with no specific information saying I didn’t fill out an intake, for which a link was never provided. When I asked for more specific information he canceled the appointment. He doesn’t have the patience for me but I wasted so much time not pursuing another therapist simply because I had an appointment, only to find that this guy abandoned his commitment at the last minute.
