Beware of using this family practice for routine physicals. All lab work is processed by Chesapeake General Hospital who will only bill as outpatient and out right refuses to resubmit the insurance claim using the preventive code which means the claim will NOT BE COVERED. Currituck Internal Medicine & Family Practice will not help correct this billing issue and will just pass you over to the office manager voicemail. Definitely find a more reliable family practice who actually cares about their patient.
Doctor Ziglar was amazing, PA Allison Williams is shockingly terrible. She doesn’t seem to care, won’t follow up and wont listen to questions or concerns. She makes arbitrary decisions and tried to change one of my medications for no apparent reason to one that I had been on before and did not work. Why would you even bother trying to change my medication if the one I am currently on is working?! She is a physicians assistant that should absolutely be avoided.
