I have been seeing Dr Okeson for almost 2 years. He has done tests and diagnosed issues that other doctors never even mentioned. I think he is a great doctor and a real nice guy. His office staff is great too and always get right back to you. Only thing I don’t like are their rules for referrals. Humana has a network but Mid Pinellas seems to have their own.
Always professional and caring. Top notch knowledge and brings a real human element to healthcare that is sadly lacking many times these days
Office doesn't do STAT authorization request? A patient was referred to our office by Dr. Nicholas Okeson, my doctor wanted to do an ultrasound while patient was in the office. The staff here stated "they get too many authorization requests, that they don't do STAT authorization request" I completely understand that a lot of authorization requests come in but if something is STAT why should the patient suffer because the office isn't staffed enough to handle stat authorization requests?
